Help Support KNPB “Aged To Perfection”
October 14th, 2008As you may know I am and Executive Member of the Board of Trustees for Reno’s local PBS station, KNPB. The station is gearing up for one of it’s major fund raisers, one that I think is the most fun in town, the event is called “Aged To Perfection”.
Last year this event attracted hundreds of people to celebrate Senator William J. Raggio and all that he has done for the State of Nevada. The event was outstanding, I laughed so hard at the video the station produced and the rebuttal that the Senator gave, that my stomach hurt the next day. This year is going to be as much fun, especially since we are celebrating Mayor Bob Cashell. This is a multi-day event and we are expect a much bigger turn out than last year. So, I ask for your to help to support KNPB in any way that you can, either by purchasing tickets which NOW Available or in the excitement as a donor,. PRESENTATION GUIDELINES FOR AUCTION ITEMS
Wednesday, October 29th
Any item in this evening’s auction will be personally viewed by over 500 people at the Silver Legacy Resort. In addition to personal viewing, your item and company will be listed in the Aged to Perfection Program with additional promotion recognition with your auction item display. Your company will also receive a group styled “On-Air” recognition on the Aged to Perfection On-Air Auction Saturday, November 8th.
Saturday, November 8th
Any item with a retail value of $100.00 to $1,499.00 will receive four (4) on-air mentions by the auctioneer, fully describing the donated item, with the name and business location of the donor. A full screen picture of the item will be shown each time. Your item will be presented on one of our “Feature” boards. Lastly, these items will be listed on KNPB’s website.
Any item with a retail value of $1,500.00 to $4,999.00 will receive a thirty (30) second promotional video spot of your business and donated item that will be produced by KNPB/Channel 5 and will be shown on-air prior to and during the Aged to Perfection
On-Air Auction Saturday, November 8th. Your donation and web link will be featured on KNPB/ Channel 5’s website.
